Beers & Books event brings reading partners together

Reading Partners Sacramento’s Beers & Books fundraiser was a big success. The event was held at Track 7 Brewery, nestled in the Curtis Park neighborhood, near two Reading Partners campuses. For every beer served, Track 7 donated 20 percent to Reading Partners. This amount was generously matched by a key community partner, Old Soul Co., who actively recruits tutors for all eight Sacramento reading centers.

Tutors, family, and friends alike enjoyed an evening together and discussed their experiences with the program. Thanks to the support of our community partners, neighbors, friends, family, and volunteers, we raised $500 to support Sacramento students and expansion into more schools in need.
