AmeriCorps Positions

When you serve with AmeriCorps, you can decide if you want to serve in one of our school-based roles or in a community-based role. Both positions are equally essential to our mission to empower students through literacy. Learn more about each type of role below.

School-based roles

If you’re interested in serving in a classroom and kickstarting your career in education one of our school-based roles would be perfect for you. In these roles, you’re working directly with students on literacy skills and coaching volunteers on how to be the best tutor they can be.
