Reading Partners has been a part of the educational landscape in the San Francisco Bay Area since the program was founded in 1999. Our one-on-one tutoring model empowers students to succeed in reading and in life by engaging community volunteers to provide individualized, personal attention to each student in our program.

Our direct tutoring models includes high-impact, one-on-one tutoring for students in both in-person and online formats.
Our volunteer-driven model engages community volunteers to support students in developing mastery of key reading skills. Volunteers are trained to implement our evidence-based curriculum rooted in the Science of Reading.
