Jennifer Mao

Jennifer is a Midwest native and graduate from the University of Washington. She holds dual degrees in psychology and photography. Prior to joining Reading Partners, she worked within the education field in a variety of contexts, ranging from classroom teaching to college admissions advising. This is her third year with Reading Partners, where she has the extraordinary privilege of overseeing the growth of community partners across the San Francisco Bay Area, and witnessing the power of individual and collective community action to leverage meaningful social change. Jennifer’s favorite children’s book is The BFG by Roald Dahl.

Jennifer oversees volunteer recruitment and strategic community partnerships to support all SF Bay Area reading centers.
