Read Alouds

Every Reading Partners lesson begins with a Tutor Read Aloud. This part of the lesson plays a key role in developing the student’s world knowledge, vocabulary, and comprehension. There are three essential components to an effective Reading Partners read aloud; every tutor-delivered read aloud demonstrates these three components:

  • Modeled fluency
  • Comprehension support
  • Vocabulary building

Use these resources and strategies to inform your read aloud sessions.
