  • Lisa Bracken

    Executive Director

    Lisa started her career in education as a public school elementary teacher. While teaching, she was named a RISE District Teacher of the Year for the Richardson Independent School District in Texas. She then became a trainer of teachers on the state and local level while writing curriculum for the state of Texas. Lisa also worked on public television in Dallas at KERA, leading the department of early childhood content and television. Additionally, Lisa conducted community outreach for PBS Kids shows, working with multiple community-based organizations, schools, and libraries on a national and local level. For the past three years, Lisa was the director of development and prior director of admission for Lakehill Preparatory School. Lisa holds a degree in elementary education with a minor in early childhood and a master's in reading education from the University of North Texas. Lisa is reading specialist certified by the State of Texas.
  • Chasidy Henry

    Program Director

    Chasidy Henry has over a decade of experience in the education sector, teaching, leading, and directing public school and private education. Prior to joining Reading Partners, she taught for several years at the preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. She has taught multiple subjects, predominantly literacy centered instruction, and has worked with students with learning differences. Chasidy is a veteran presenter and published author. Chasidy has worked with several non-profit organizations, including Communities in Schools, Early Head Start, Head Start, The Parenting Cottage, Women’s Protective Services, National Association for the Education of Young Children, and more. Chasidy received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and interdisciplinary studies from Angelo State University and her masters degrees in curriculum & instruction and educational leadership, and PhD in curriculum & instruction with emphasis in language and literacy from Texas Tech University.
  • Ashley Huff

    Senior Program Manager

    Ashley Huff graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies (early childhood – fourth grade) and went on to teach in both public and charter schools for four and a half years. During her teaching career, she had the opportunity to work with students from second to fifth grade. While working as a fifth grade special education teacher, Ashley developed a passion for teaching reading and working with students one-on-one at their individual level. Ashley helped launch Reading Partners in Dallas and is looking forward to continue helping Reading Partners have an impact on Dallas students.
  • Andrea Solis

    Program Manager

    Andrea Solis has always believed in the AmeriCorps motto of “getting things done.” She graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelor’s and master’s in public administration. She previously served with AmeriCorps NCCC and AmeriCorps NPRC. Prior to joining Reading Partners, Andrea taught for four years as a special education teacher. Her belief is that all children deserve a quality education! She could not be more excited to assist the Reading Partners North Texas team make a difference in the life of a child.
