Direct tutoring
Our direct tutoring program offers school-based in-person and online tutoring. We transform an on-site space into a vibrant, fully operational reading center where Reading Partners’ team and volunteers coordinate evidence-based literacy tutoring for enrolled students.
Direct tutoring includes:
- Reading Partners’ evidence-based curriculum

- On-site program management team

Program features
Individualized
All students receive direct support at their skill level. Based on assessments, students will receive either small group cohort tutoring or one-on-one tutoring.
High-dosage
Students receive 90 minutes of instruction across 2-3 weekly tutoring sessions per week.
Phonics-based
Our curriculum is based in phonics instruction and the science of reading approach.
Progress monitoring
Continuous progress monitoring ensures students are progressing in the program.
