Alexis Walls

Alexis is a strategic executive office leader with deep experience guiding executive operations, internal communications, high-level organizational planning, and complex cross-team collaboration in mission-driven organizations. She is adept at translating long-term vision into actionable priorities while maintaining alignment across regional and national teams, with a proven ability to manage detailed processes while supporting strategic decision-making and long-term planning. Alexis is a trusted advisor to senior leaders, recognized for strengthening organizational culture through communication and supporting organizations through periods of growth and change.

Her career has been rooted in service from the very beginning. A proud AmeriCorps alum, she launched her professional journey with two service terms at Reading Partners New York, first as a Site Coordinator supporting students and volunteer tutors in East Harlem and later as an AmeriCorps VISTA focused on development. She went on to deepen her experience in development and operations roles at Blue Engine before returning to Reading Partners, where she has grown through multiple leadership roles within the Executive Office.

Alexis believes that every individual, irrespective of their origin or history, deserves the resources, support, and collaborative partnerships rooted in community that are essential to thrive. Across her career, she has supported leaders at every level of organizations pursuing missions aligned with that belief.
