Brandy Hawes

Brandy brings more than 15 years of experience in education and nonprofit leadership and program management with a strong track record in instructional leadership, partnership building, team development and equity-focused outcomes.

In 2018, Brandy was recognized as a Washington Post Principal of the Year finalist for leading strategic school turnaround and driving measurable academic gains. She also designed and launched a flagship global student ambassador program, creating an international teaching team and providing students in grades 2-8 with global learning, service opportunities and cross-cultural experiences across 13 countries.

Her leadership and innovative approach were most recently highlighted in “The Connector Manager” by Jaime Roca and Sari Wilde, which profiles high-impact leaders who build exceptional teams and strengthen organizational performance.
