India Matthews

A native to Washington, DC, India received her bachelor’s from Frostburg University where she studied psychology. After graduating, India teetered on the fence between continuing her schooling in counseling or becoming a teacher. To figure out her life plan, India joined Reading Partners as an AmeriCorps member. She spent her first year as a Literacy Lead and her second year as a Regional Site Coordinator. Now she is excited to join the staff at Reading Partners with the knowledge she brings from within the schools we serve.
