Louisa Moyse

Louisa is thrilled to serve as executive director of Reading Partners NYC. She joined the team in September 2021 as the development director and witnessed firsthand how the organization’s volunteer-driven model transforms student outcomes and strengthens communities. During her tenure, Louisa has led a 115% increase in regional revenue, playing a critical role in enabling the region to reach nearly twice as many students with individualized, evidence-based literacy support. She brings more than a decade of experience across New York City’s education and nonprofit landscape, beginning her career at a public charter school network, where she advanced into leadership roles overseeing development and external relations. Louisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from SUNY Cortland. Her favorite children’s book is I Knew You Could Do It! by Nancy Tillman.
