This spring, Reading Partners New York City partnered with ExpandED Schools and Brooklyn Book Bodega to bring literacy workshops and materials to families across East New York, South Jamaica Queens, and East Harlem. 📚🙌

More than 200 people joined our 6-part workshop series, covering topics on the science of reading and at-home strategies. The result? An average of 4.8/5 ⭐️ satisfaction by our participants.

We closed out the series with three Big Book Parties hosted by Brooklyn Book Bodega at local library branches, distributing 900+ books to nearly 200 attendees and celebrating a shared commitment to literacy.

We’re so proud of this collaboration, and we remain committed to building a strong network of literacy champions.
