Houston, Texas high school teacher Darius Williams has ignigted a firestorm about child illiteracy. Before last week, he was best known for posting his comfort food cooking techniques on social media. But last week, he posted a video that has since gone viral and raising question the age-old question: “Why can’t Johnny read?” We are looking at this problem and how it can be addressed at school and at home.
