PSA about the importance of early literacy
Reading Partners has been a part of the Newark educational landscape since 2024. Through our Powered by Reading Partners program, we provide adaptable literacy programming to partner organizations such as the Greenlight Fund that meet students where they are in the Newark community.
Core services
Reading Partners at Home
Reading Partners at Home pairs each student with a volunteer literacy tutor for free, weekly, online tutoring sessions. This program is currently available for K–4 students in Newark. Enroll your student here.
Tutoring Powered by Reading Partners
We train program delivery partners to effectively implement the Reading Partners curriculum and program model beyond the school setting. This includes but is not limited to after school programs, summer programs, tutoring centers, and more. Delivery options include school year, summer, or year-round.
Family Engagement Powered by Reading Partners
Provides literacy resources and training, enabling community partners to support families in building strong foundational literacy skills at home. This program also includes an extensive suite of resources available through Reading Partners’ online Resource Hub.
